Frank Marks FCII

Managing Director

Frank Marks believes that insurance doesn’t have to be incomprehensible. He founded Marks Insurance in 1990 to offer a non-corporate approach to business insurance, keeping customer service at the forefront.

He is a Fellowship Member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance. Outside of the office, Frank is often found wandering the golf courses searching for the 19th hole.

Area of Expertise: Handling complex insurance claims and supporting clients through the process from start to finish.

Responsibilities: Business owner and building key customer relationships.

Emma Susans ACII BA (Hons)

Director

Emma has had a varied career, beginning at a specialist marine insurer. Her subsequent roles at both national and local brokers involved all areas of commercial insurance including global programmes. Emma Susans joined Marks Insurance in 2014 to assist Frank in modernising and restructuring the business and became a Director in 2019.

She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has completed a BA in Financial Services. Emma is currently complementing her love of red wine, sunshine and gardening by learning Spanish.

Angela Macintosh ACII B Com (Hons)

Client Executive

Angela has had an extensive career in commercial insurance including Lloyds placements, global and captive programmes. For over 15 years she has advised private equity backed companies and private equity firms on financial lines risk and insurance including mergers and acquisitions and public offerings, as a Financial & Professional Risk specialist. Her move to Marks Insurance in 2021 reflects her choice to find a better work/life balance with a firm that maintains a quality personal and specialist service.

Areas of expertise: Financial Lines covers including Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Pension Trustee Liability, Crime, Cyber & Professional Indemnity

Kim Lewis

Account Handler

Kim began her career with a leading global insurance firm in the facilities team, before becoming a business services assistant. She joined Marks Insurance in 2017 as an account handler across a range of commercial insurance areas. Aside from keeping fit, Kim loves socialising and holidaying with her friends.

Area of Expertise: Property Owners, Small Package Combined, High Net Worth and Motor Fleet
